I got this bottle off the Spanish Ebay about a year ago or so. You can have it if you want. The wife hates the smell of it and that's why I tend to only use it when she's not around or on business trips. I'm not particularly attached to it, so PM me and I'll send it to you. It originally came in an orange cardboard package that I trashed already long ago. Had I known it was vintage, I would have saved it. Cheers, Herman

Thanked: 127Ohhh, i think my Flea Market Find could be a real Cutthroat, man what a sharp Blade (and i thought the Thuringian made it a bit more mellow), but after all, a fine shave although the razor has still to be shaved in.

Prep: shower w/L'Occitane Almond Shower Oil
Soap: L'Occitane Cade
Brush: Thater
Razor: Ralf Aust 5/8
Post: Alum & Thayer's Tonic
Balm: Trumper's Limes Skin Food
Still trying to figure out the Cade( I think that is what it is). I have not had consistent lathering with this soap so far. Post shave the Alum block kept skidding to a halt. Don't know if that was due to shave soap or residual shower oil. Weird. I am somewhere around 30 shaves into using a straight razor-enjoying it very much!Last edited by Leatherstockiings; 07-01-2013 at 10:27 PM. Reason: Spelling

I was talking to Rene the other day about how I wanted to try a Kamisori type razor. I was not sure I wanted to own one before I tried. Rene was gracious enough to send me this razor which was made by Grant. I'm not sure who put the edge on it, Rene or Grant but it was very sharp. Gave a very comfortable shave. It is very light in your hand, very balanced but requires different angles than a regular straight. I had a very nice shave but the jury is still out on me obtaining one.
