    Monday morning:

    Klar Kabinett Shaving Soap
    "GDR-Omega" with TGN Finest Knot
    David Issard 6/8
    Dr. Harris Pink Aftershave

The brush I bought for a little over a dollar on ebay. He was in NOS condition but the pig bristles fell out quickly. I glued a TGN Finest in the aluminum handle, because I like face lathering. These knots are really of exceptional quality.

    Have a nice day!

    Monday

Razor | Klas Törnblom | Soap | Edwin Jagger Sea Buckthorn | After Shave | Tabac

Excellent shave with the Klas Törnblom this morning. After feeling my face after the first pass I really couldn't see any reason to do a second pass, esp as I'm really concentrating on the left hand side of my face where the hair grows more sideways. I do this with a sort of sweeping stroke, even though I can't see the actual blade as I do this. it's working well, though. Basically this means that the first pass is actually almost an ATG pass on the cheeks.

Love the ivory scales on this razor, but they're so delicate! At least that means I'm very gentle stropping it...

I considered shaving my goatee off this morning and leaving the mo and soul patch as I'd trimmed the goatee very short with the hair clippers last night so it was nearly non-existent. However, I left it alone.

Feeling exhausted this morning as last week consisted of bouldering for an hour and a half on Tuesday night, a heavy weights workout on Thursday (bench presses, leg presses and leg curls) a walk to the cemetery of Saturday morning followed by two hours of bouldering on Saturday afternoon, an 8k walk on Sunday morning followed by mowing the lawns. I worked out that on Thursday I did 140 reps on the leg press machine with 95 kilos (all up). I know you're all probably sick and tired of me big noting myself with reporting on my workouts and bouldering, but I do it to motivate myself, and maybe even others at my advanced (51) age...

Floïd can be easily found in Italy and Europe in general, however the "Floïd Vigoroso" is mainly sold in Spain. You can however buy it in many e-commerce sites on the internet, including eBay.

I've bought some before, but it was in a different bottle (the vigoroso). I particularly like that bottle. For me, presentation is nine tenths of the law...

I am a big fan of Floïd and it basically is the only after shave I use since a very long time. I too love the Floïd bottle, old fashioned cylinder shape to which you can mount a luxurious spray pump. Simply love it!
Vigoroso is sold in a different bottle, smaller and flat which is however lovely. As far as I know, the Vigoroso contains more alcohol than the "genuine", has a more mentholated scent and it is mainly produced for Spanish market.

    Gentlemen,

I apologize for disappearing during the second half of last week. Unfortunately, work took me away for a few days, but I am back for a very busy next several weeks! And I am kicking off this Independence Day week with a wonderful lavender explosion. MDC wiped away with the Manaslu before applying the Aromé 3 is an incredible exercise in luxury!

He saw a lawyer killing a viper on a dunghill hard by his own stable; And the Devil smiled, for it put him in mind of Cain and his brother Abel.
