    Wednesday evening
Prep: crew-cut from the Mrs's using the Wahl Clipper. Excellent tool.
    Hot water prep
Gillette Toggle razor with Feather blade "slammed" to 9 - L'Occitane CADE sc - generic silvertip badger - cold water splash - alum block - Thayer's rose petal re-splash - Calani purissima asb - hot towel - Parfumerie Generale L'Eau Guerriere sample EdT

The Feather blades are deceptively sharp. Again today I let myself be tempted to apply a tiny bit of pressure below the chin where the growth is heaviest. Punished with a few minor weepers. It simply doesn't allow pressure. All in all a truly fine shave with quality ingredients. The "Water of War" eau de toilette from Parfumerie Generale is a fresh scent with flowery tones. Not sure of it yet.
I'll be taking a two week sabbatical from the fora for a relaxed retreat in the hills of Tuscany. See you kind gents in a fortnight!

Prep face wash L'Occitane Vetiver soap
Razor vintage Max Otte high grade extra hollow 5/8
    Strop Kanayama cordovan #8000
Brush Simpsons chubby 1 in super
    GFT coconut oil shaving cream
    Alum & Thayers toner
    Kiehl's aftershave balm
    Guerlain Vetiver Edt

An extremely close shave from this finest of grinds, the Max Otte is a stunning little razor to look at, and weighing in at a miniscule 31g.
