Thread: Changing blades

How often should I change DE blades when doing body shaving? I only want to shave armpits and pubic area once a week.

As long as the blade doesn't rust, you should get a few shaves out of it, so maybe once a month. I use the Merker or Dorco blades and get at least three shaves with a good amount of facial hair. I try to make sure the blades are dry and clean when I put it away, even stropping the razor edges on my jean strop, lol.

You should be able to tell the moment a bad blade hits your skin, it will not feel too good.
