    Default Standard Razor

Looked for a previous post about this new razor or at least I think it's a fairly new product.
I've seen one person post a SOTD and that was enough to peak my interest and I bought one. Sucker for new USA made stuff if I can afford it.

I just got this razor in the mail yesterday and gave it a whirl this morning. My first thoughts were this is very light (Anodized Aluminium) and I feared that I might be adding pressure to get the razor to shave. This was not the case. My first shave with it was on my chrome dome, and it was almost as if I was just wiping the hair off my head, even checked to see if I put the blade in, very smooth DE. Over all I'm impressed with the shave. My second concern is with the long term durability of it (dings) and that time will only tell. This De comes with one Astra, wrapped in a thin foam sheet, in a zip-lock type bag, so packaging is similar to what you would get from Weber, nothing earth shattering there.

Only one shave in so far, but easy to use, don't have to adapt to any new angles or technique - so far a winner

I bought the natural, would have posted pic's but figured people would look it up.
Also wanted to ad to my last post now that I think of it.........The fit and finish, is excellent. The build completely covers the ends of the blade and feels soft? while using, not sure how else to describe it.

You might have seen my STOD because I have been using this razor a lot. I originally ordered the black but after experiencing fantastic shaves decided I needed the gray so now I have both. These guys came up with an incredible head which is the heart of the razor.

You sure were the one...........to cause me to spend money!
Just used it again today for a head shave and again very easy to use, and smooth. I did notice today though that it talks to you a lot, sort of like shaving with a full hollow ground.
Slantman maybe you can give use more info. on this razor? How long have they been around.....

Only a few short months. The razors are shipped from Los Angeles but not 100% sure if they are actually made in the US. According to a blog they might attempt to make their own blades. Wouldn't that be interesting.

    Gentlemen,
I ordered this razor yesterday, the gray model, and am looking forward to giving you my thoughts on the shave. Not that I need another double edge razor, but something about it intrigued me. Let's wait and see.

Lol, I ordered one yesterday to. Gray also. can't wait to get it. Something about it that drew me to it. Plus Jerry's review on it.
