    All of the above but never boil a DE razor it'll discolour, same with bleach. I use an ultrasonic cleaner this removes all the grime and muck.

    I used "Mean Green" to scrub it down real good, then rinsed in hot (tap) water. Finally, I soaked it in 91% isopropyl for about 10 minutes. I'm sure that's good enough. Shaved with it this morning. No where near as nice a shave as my Merkur, regardless of the adjustment. I guess I'll let the wife have it.
