    I think I'll keep it on there it doubles up as a safety measure when you remove th handle it stops the base plate and head parting company, plus it stops the metal hande marking the base plate.

    How is the balance with the heavy stainless head and light titanium handle ? Beautiful set BTW.

    Well Jimmy that's something I noticed immediately I haven't given the razor a shave yet but I can't see it being much of a issue I wouldn't fancy using it with a stainless steel handle though, I'm pleased I purchased the Titanium I think it makes a big difference.

    Jamie, would be interested to know how this razor compares to the original Cobra (guess the name is not a coincidence!), do you have one of those as well? Mine is great, can't imagine a 'better' safety although the Mongoose finish looks tops....

    They are very good looking.
    I will only ever SR shave otherwise I'd get one.
