Thread: DE blades expire?

Never heard of DE blades expiring if not use by a certain date. The older blades were not coated and can be prone to rusting if not stored right. A glance at the blade edges should tell you if you are good to go or not in that department.

Yep - I've used blades from the 60's without issue. I've tried older non-stainless DE's and Injectors with spotty results, so I stick with SS blades that pass the visual. In the Injectors, the best blades are the older ones anyway

I don't think they expire...they just get dull and rusty I'd assume. Just like straights.

As long as they're not rusted, I see no reason not to use them.
