For me it was 2 different problems. pressure and angle. Even with the safety razors the wrong angle would mean too much pressure to get a close shave. This can happen with out one knowing it or at least it did for me. I also now us an after shave lotion. Nivea sensitive. Hope this helps.

For what it's worth...I tend to get more ingrown hairs when using a safety razor than I do when using a straight razor.

Ingrown hair is a problem for me too even using feather and ss blue tip - I had to take a antibiotics dose to cure the infection.
I always thought safety razor gave less ingrown hair.

Îngrown hair happens to me too when I use safety razors. Not all the time but happens. I think I will use my safety razor only for head shave for summer.

I'm shaved with my straight razor yesterday evening, my skin feels much better.

Just wanted to be sure. These feather blades are unique? I read some views on Amazon and some users said what they bought were not the same quality as they used earlier. I don't if there are fault feather blades, not original? Or I should take these views for their personal thoughts?

i don't know why i'm having this or if this arrives to you too? as always, after shaved, i take a shower, use an after shave (with alcohol). i started to think this kind of shaving is not for me.
There is no universal tips about how to get rid of shaving pimples. In any case, before treating pimples after shaving, their root cause must be found. The problem is caused by the modern multi-blade razors. It might cause skin problems like skin irritation, razor cuts and red bumps, acne etc. Use of turmeric has been shown to reduce the skin irritation, rashes, itching in such cases. Turmeric does not cause any kind of side effects. Only thing is that go for the best quality product. It’s pretty difficult to get whole turmeric. I buy it from horton spice mills ( Spices | Horton Spice Mills Product List - Markham, ON ) for my hubby.

actually I have none of these problems with red bumps or irritation just after shaved. It's one or two days later in having some buttons under skin and very painful.

I had a few oddball shaves. Someone told me to try a small drop of glycerin added to the scuttle before lathering. It helped a lot. Maybe it will help ya. Also, instead of just washing with hot water, rinse the face quickly with very warm water and use a hot towel wrapped around the shaving area until it cools down. It will open up the pores better than anything else, except a hot shower maybe.
Be careful to not burn yourself, though. I use a microwave briefly.
Someone also put up a video a while back and suggested:
    1) Rinse face but don't towel dry,
    2) lather up face well,
    3) rinse with very warm water, while massaging with fingers,
    4) Lather again, then enjoy the shave

You just have to start with exclude one of things.
    1- no pressure, WTG pass
2- skip aftetshave in all form
3- let it grow for 2 days before going at it 4- Try Feather Artist club/ loan from some member if it is possible, that solved my problem
