    Default Alumigoose (Mongoose 2)

I am big fan of mongoose SE. I think this is great razor and it gives me third best result in shaving after SR, feather artist club SS and then mongoose. So I can't miss aluminum one. Here are some pictures of it. Regular mongoose I am using with titanium handle.

2nd attempt at a post. Would you go with the handle that comes with the alumigoose or use a different one?

Haven't tried it with the different handle yet. Honestly, I like the handle that this razor comes with. Quite comfortable for me. Next shave I will use different one and only then I will know for sure.

I only use the aluma goose handle as intended. It seems the perfect weight and size for me.
With my regular mongoose I have a variety of handles to choose from.

I would think the main reason to buy the Aluminum version was for the weight so to add a heavy handle makes no sense.

    My opinion of course.

Yes they are interchangeable. And there is quite a variety to choose from with different vendors. Titanium has been a popular choice by users of the Mongoose polished or satin Mongoose. I use a couple of handles on my Mongoose satin that I piped up from Maggards.

Today's 3 passes shave was good, but nothing exceptional. Just good desent product. Also, I believe there is more to the feather artist club blades than to the razor itself. I’ve got better results with the Feather SS shavette than with both mongooses. And of course straight razor beats them all. No kidding.
