    I don't have that particular razor however with any DE or SE the housing should clamp the blade to the max. If you can push it down further then the mechanism isn't doing it's job correctly.

    I use a Razor-rock Wunderbar and with a good blade like an Astra or Feather it does make a sound during shaving but it's more subtle.

    I discovered that I can load the blade normally, squeeze the head hard and wiggle it a bit, and the blade will get deeper. This is also easier than loading the blade by pushing it well into the cap.

    I also found out that the sound in shaving appears more or less unpredictably. At least, that's how it looks to me as a newbie.
