    Default Shaving your private parts

Ok first off let's keep this professional.

Something has come up where I need to shave my pubic hair and keep it shaved. I got a safety razor designated for just this (no way I'm using a straight).

I've been using creamo cream with ok results. I shave here in the shower.

I'm wondering about using a small brush and actually building lather just like my face but I'm wondering if being in the shower with water running down my back plus not having a sink that I just add a small amount of water to brush will make getting a good lather almost impossible.

A good lather is my biggest concern but other tips are also welcome.

Why not bowl lather. Point the shower head away from you, or turn it off, when your ready to shave.

A soft brush is recommended, IMO. I can only imagine what your wife would say, if she saw you working a lather down there. Tell her, its your mad, dog.

If I'm shaving anything in the shower, i just palm lather and apply with my hands.
My brushes don't go "down there" directly

Do yourself a favor and invest in one of the electrics specifically designed for that task. It's a much safer and comfortable alternative.

I know the newer ones are supposed to be beyond safe, but.....you ever catch a fold of skin down there in a clipper?
I have, on an older "beard and body trimmer", and it was enough to scare me away from them ever since lol

With a little practice and common sense, it's not hard with a cartridge razor

Yeah....been there done that.! Gotta use a guard on those ol' hedge clippers.

But really, they've got them that are like a toothbrush, now.
My wife has one somewhere, it even shaves off peach fuzz.

I can tell ya it works, I'm the one who trims the happy trail, for her.

There's always hot wax, lasers, and chemicals to consider...but that's last ditch efforts, IMO

Electric razors and multi blade cartridge razors irritate my face, I don't want to know what they would do down there. Thats why I switched to straights and safety razors.

I might try the bowl idea. The brush I will use is a old small one that I haven't used in years and will only be used for this purpose.

For trimming I have a skin safe trimmer that works well but thats for trimming.

Reminds me of the time I shaved “down there”. My wonderful wife asked why I did it. I told her if you clear out the underbrush, even a scrawny sapling can look like a mighty oak.

I actually did get a electric razor that was supposed to give irritation free shave for the pubic region....
Holy irritation, it got returned next day.

The safety with creamo is ok, but always looking for better.
