Glad the bulldog handle worked

Thanked: 3224I had intended to use King Gillette 3 piece razor for this week's worth of shaves. Stopped using it today as I could not get as close or long lasting a shave with it compared to the safety razors I prefer. It might be a combination of too little blade exposure and too little a blade gap for all I know. The bright side is that it may still satisfy those who prefer a milder safety razor for their daily shavers. It is just not for me plus I don't care for the handle either.

That handle does look kinda wimpy. Not much for grip from this view.
It's just Sharpening, right?

I didn't find the handle too much of an issue but the blade exposure is on the low side so it's a pretty mild shaver with the supplied blades. I'm going to try with a Feather for the next shave - I've often found that super-sharp blades can work well with mild razors.
One slight negative I found was shaving just under the nostrils: it was a task to get the last hairs off that area. Mind you, my favourite safety, the Gem 1912, also has this difficulty but I can put up with it given that razor's other excellent properties
