Sharpest may not be the most comfortable. There are numerous thread on DE comfort.
My fav is Avent. If you don't care where you are, you are not lost.

The sharpest blade I have tried is a Feather. However I don't buy them as I have found other brands to be sharp enough and more comfortable to use in my razor on my skin.

Yep, feather are number one but they can be finicky if you lack experience. Kai are very close and are probably the only uncoated blades out there and the Personna Hospital Blades are very close to those.

Im with Spendur. I know ive seen a list or two over on b&b. I can use feathers and they are top of the sharp list for me. But i only get 3 shaves from them.
Nacets are my choice. It's just Sharpening, right?

Thanked: 1081As said, Feather and Kai are widely regarded as the sharpest DE blade. Don’t forget the aggressiveness of the DE razor itself will affect the shave just as much as the sharpenes of the blade.

Sharpest doesn't mean the best shave. Many consider Feathers and Kai's as, possibly, the sharpest blades. Nonetheless, it's all subjective and quite minor as all DE blades will cut.
It just depends on which blade suits you and your razor(s). Feathers may be sharp, but, for me, they dull after 3 shaves and they are quite expensive. There are so many other good blades available.
Good luck with your search.Laughter, Love, & Shaving

Another vote for Feather Hi-Stainless. I haven't used a DE razor in years now, but on the rare occasion I will use a shavette, and half of a Feather blade gives me a great shave if it's a good shavette. Lately I favor the Facon half DE blade knockoff of the Artist Club style. Those shakey jakey slide-in style shavettes sometimes don't support the blade well, and occasionally, cuts occur. When a brand new Feather cuts, it really cuts, too. Anyway I have to say they are pretty darn sharp. They require a careful hand, in a DE razor, or else a very gentle razor. You can mitigate a bit by corking the blade, but then you may as well stick with a more comfy and still reasonably sharp Israeli Personna or Gillette 7 OClock Green.
Like others I find that the Feathers don't last very long... in a DE razor. Funny thing though, I get a week out of a blade, more or less, using half blades in a shavette.

Thanked: 1081Yep I palm strop DE blades before first use too. I find it helps with irritation on my neck.
