I want to buy one of these but they seem to be out of stock everywhere. Does anyone know what the wait times are?

    Thanks,

    David

Watch this and other shaving forums. As soon as stock comes in, somebody posts a notice, but you have to act quickly. I finally got one and, for me, it is the best shaving system out there. But I would not recommend it to a novice. It is a straight on a T handle and much sharper than a real straight. Great shaves though.

So after reading the threads I signed up on the waiting list at Classic Shaving.
Bingo Bango Bongo not two weeks go by and I get my notice, promptly order and the always fantastic Classic Shaving delivers.

Background: Wet shaving for 2 years, Straight Razor for most of that with both conventional and Feather AC/SS variants.

+1 to mattloffm's comments - this would not be a good idea as your first non cart razor...

On the other hand if you have some DE time up to Slants and/or the more aggressive razors or can get through a Straight Razor shave and be proud of your work...this thing is worth a try.

The most striking thing for me was the sound...
You don't feel the whiskers falling, but the sound is like a piece of paper being slowly torn.

And that patch on your throat/neck the size of your thumbprint that resists all but your most concerted efforts? (you know what I talking about...)

    It will submit...

This is the least favorite of all my razors. Mine feels like a dead weight with movable parts.

    Have fun.

The only UK retailer for these had one which had been reserved and then cancelled. I was the lucky person to get in first and now have my Cobra.

Great shave even with a three-times used Feather ProGuard blade taken from my Artist Club SS.

This may well become my favourite razor!

Just posted on another forum and I just confirmed, they are back in stock at Classic Shaving.

    Good luck!
