I only shave with my right hand for now. I tried my left a few times and kept cutting myself underneath my lip.

I use both hands when shaving with my de razor, just as I do when shaving with my straight razors.

Thanked: 1195I didn't realize that ambidextrous shaving was so common among DE shavers. Or perhaps, as our friend De Lanye pointed out, it has more to do with the fact that this is SRP?
Anyway, I switch hands with a straight, and use my dominant with a DE. Probably a hold over from my cartridge/disposable days.

I would think you'd have to be ambidextrous to do shave with both hands. I can switch hit, but I can't pitch with my left. I'd be curious if the both hand shavers can do other things with thier left hand.

Thanked: 220When I first started with a DE, I used my dominant hand. After some practice I was able to use both hands. Same goes with the straight razor.

I never used my off hand but once I learned to do it with the straight I now do it with the DE.
