    Quite frankly the razor in your photos looks just fine to me. The plating may be worn, but it is not evident in the photos. Given the prices quoted by De layne, you may want to just useit as is. Perhaps you can check an Ebay seller such as cedarfurnitureman, and find another Slim that is in even better condition or has already been restored.
