I had my first DE shave today. It was good. I recently purchased a Parker 82r DE w/ Shark super chrome blades. The 82r is new for 2010, and has the butterfly open feature. I've always wanted to try a DE, and while shopping on Amazon, I stumbled across it. It had lot's of great reviews, so I went on that. The shave was very smooth and quite good to my surprise. I hadn't heard anything good about Parker and was a bit worried.
I thought I'd be selling it on the classifieds.

I need a DE for days when I'm rushed and this will more than do the job. Hopefully, The Dreaded DE AD's won't hit, because I can be happy with this.

FWIW, I did my normal pre shave prep, used T&H pre shave oil, then Ogalla Bay Rum/Sandalwood soap, (great stuff btw) and finished with Booster Iced Lime AS from our neighbors to the north. As you know, stuff from Canada is always stronger, so it's good...
