Yes, I reckon it will take some years to fill (probably last the rest of my life), so I'll have to alternate the covers a few times as I get bored with them.
I look forward to seeing what you come up wih too.

Nice job, Mick! I really don't have an excuse for not getting on with one of these - maybe this weekend.

That's pretty cool, Mick. Simple, but effective...

Thanks for the kind words, Gents. I thought the crossed swords was a good play on the 'blade bank' theme as well. I keep the tin on top of the bathroom cabinet away from playful hands as well. Mainly because the basin shelf space is too limited. My wife has no idea what it's for either. I'll tell her one day.

I got a new blade bank on the weekend.

    The Australians should appreciate it.

I just want to share something..what Im doing after I have used blades.. I just put it in a box.. its made of wood.. I just recycled it and made something out of it..or sometimes.. If I get lazy.. I just throw it away with that box in the trash can.

That's what we're talking about here Lyle, safe disposal and trying to be a little more enviromentally friendly. That was the idea behind my blade bank anyway.

well.. i went the lazy way out and found a big glass jar with a cork top.. i cut a slot in the cork to slide the blades through and glued the cork in place.. you can easily see all the blades inside.. but will have to break the glass to get to them.

i keep it on top of a cabinet in the shave den..
