Default Question for all Gillette Fatboy users

I recently started using a Gillette Fatboy & I have to keep the adjustment at the #1 or #2 setting. Any more & I'm taking divots of flesh.
I'm curious, where do Fatboy users keep there adjustment setting at?

    Thanks,
    Darl (Tarkus)

My slim adjustable is not a fatboy, but pretty close. I keep it on 2.

It depends on the blade and, of course, everyone's face is different, but I generally use a 4-6 on my Fatboy when I use a yellow 7 o'clock or Astra (my preferred choices). If I use a feather blade, I use a two.

I use Derby blades in mine and keep it on 4.

I wouldn't of believed that the blade would make so much of a variable
    Thanks everyone

I keep mine at 8 with most blades, 7 if it is a Feather.
Sounds to me like yours are either warped or your pressure is real high when using it

So far just 5 with Wilkinson.
    Seems a bit mild though

I haven't used mine in a while but kept it at around 4-5.

In general, 6-7 for both the Fatboy and the Slim.
The Slim seems to give me a better shave in this range; I'm planning on opening the Fatboy up a bit more when it's up the next time through the rotation.

I keep both my Fatboy & Slim Adjustable on 9 and I use Feather blades.

Note: I pretty much use the same technique with my DE razors as I do when shaving with my straights. Just about zero pressure with guillotine/scything strokes everywhere on my face that I can use them.
