Gentlemen, we still don't have an answer on how the new Feather AS D2 shaves. Does anybody own this thing yet?

I haven't looked recently but I'm sure the fanboys at B&B are already is deep discussion over it.

Gentlemen,
I give up. Good luck finding a comprehensive review of the Feather AS D2. After combing several forums for several days, all I get is comments that use words such as "great," "wow," "too expensive," "same blade gap," "not worth it," "worth it," "only cosmetic difference from D1," and so on and on. None of it tells me anything about the bloody razor. Some will shave with the thing one morning and write a review, while others will shave with it for several days and write the same review. I'm tempted to spend the money for the razor and the stand so that I can write a comprehensive review of the razor without the useless adjectives. It will be one man's opinion, of course, but at least I will have tried the razor for myself and avoided comments such as "wow," "great," and so on. First, I must decide between selling my Ferrari or the Lamborghini to buy the razor. Oy!Last edited by Obie; 04-08-2013 at 01:23 PM.
