I've just been rinsing and then drying the three pieces individually and that seems to work well! The second shave from the iridium was literally the best shave I've ever had in my entire life. I was able to go sideways on my neck to get a bbs like I've never had before. Extremely comfortable with zero irritation as well. Blown away!

Just out of curiosity, have you used an Edwin Jagger razor?

I have and I sold it. That says nothing about how good the razor is, but more about how well it worked for me. The razor/blade combination that works for someone else my not work for you. It is a process of trial and error. I love shaving with my Feather AS-1 converted to an iKon OSS. I enjoy the Merkur OC head a lot. Others find it too mild. I enjoy shaving with my Old Type and mid-century Tech, but other's like neither of them. The EJ89 is very popular and deserves it, but it is not for everyone. No razor is.
The tale is doon, and God save al the rowte!

Liesureguy is an authority on some shaving forums. I trust what he says because he has been a DE enthusiast for many years and gives lots of practical and helpful advice. His 1st DE razor pick for beginners used to be the Merkur, but he switched to the EJ 89. The Mühle 89 is the exact same head and it's the one I started with awhile ago and have been very happy with it.
