OK, I tried my new Maggard MR1 today with a Gillette 7 O'Clock Yellow. It seems to be extremely well made and has a good solid feel. The finish is superb. I lathered up with Proraso White and took off. I had a great shave with one small nick on my chin. I am certain that was pressure related on my part. I look forward to breaking myself in on the MR1. Both Casie and Brad are great to deal with. Their customer service and shipping speed is top notch.

your pictures are much better than mine. I'm glad you like it, I've shaved a few more times with mine by now, and am very pleased with it. I used Israeli personna and several tobs and g f trumper creams with it ( got several samplers with the mr1) and it performed superbly every time.

Lince,
That razor looks really, really good. It oughta give you many, many years of quick, close, comfortable shaves.

Lince (Bob), nice photos. As we've discussed, steady as you go. Now get some MWF.

I'm trying Johnny. I really like the Super Speed, but just had to try this. I figured for the money it was a great way to try a Tech and EJ 89 at the same time.
