I always prefer DE over Shavette over SR. First 2 out of the 3, require only cleaning, and new blades. When the Shavette can provide a clean shave, and remain a less headache causing option over SR, why waste my time?
Shavette was invented by Dovo in 1906, that is 116 years in service. Why would I not use the advanced, hygienic, and simple solution over a complicated and unnecessary ancient tool?
Only reason I had an SR, was because I was curious. Cuts we receive from a DE, and SE and limited to the blade, SR if not careful can act like a scalpel, leaving scars with reminder scar tissue formation requiring plastic/cosmetic surgery for correction of scars.
