Wow! Some beautiful razors. Thanks for the post. Does anybody know where to get one of the ‘Jaguar Orca’ razors in the USA? I wonder how they (the Orca) stack up against the Feather razors?

My blades are still in the cart at Sally's and I think I am in this club with a smile now. I have a case of Dubl Duck blades coming that I got just because they are duck stuff. I think they are going to be too short for shavettes.

.....and this Duck is on the bench waiting for some polish.

Yes, that's a ProGuard blade. I find it gives a more comfortable shave than the Professional blades, at least for my face and beard.

As to my choice of of DX over SS, it was determined by finding it in the Classified forum at a price I couldn't refuse.

I started with, and still use a personna shaper that i got from sallys for $12, i have 2 vintage straights that need honed so i still havent used a real one yet. But i really enjoy my shavette. Looking to get a feather though.

I use a feather clone cjb razor. Very cheap and they take feather ac blades

I have a CJB Kimchee Kamisori too. It really is a great razor at a fraction of a price of the similar Feathers
As for affordable Sally's shavettes I prefer the Fromm $6 for the shavette and it takes hair shaper blades (look like oblong skinny SE blades)
