Thanked: 1I have a CJB kami that is really good for the price. I paid 40 canadian for it. I also have a Feather DX that is awesome but cost a ton more. For value I think the CJB is the way to go but if possible get a Feather or Kai. Lol or both and start a collection.

Thanked: 0I have one of those cheap parker style shavettes from eBay shipped out of China. I paid less then $2 US for it. It holds a blade and it shaves my face. I think the tang is slippery and the scales too heavy but it was cheap so I can't complain too much. If I got a new razor I would get either a CJB or the IBC HERE The IBC accepts half DE blades, injector blades and the artist club blades.

Thanked: 56I think replying to a 2 year old thread isn't going to help the OP very much.

I have the Equinox Shavette who to my opinion is a real good shavette. The weight is right and really Hefty, it also take a full DE blade but be carefull of the blade gap(could be agressive). Use your favorite DE blade and of Course light touch no pressure. Here's a pic

Thanked: 7I have been using the dovo shavette. Don't like the plastic holder though. That IBC I'm loving how can use DE or Artist Club razors.

Thanked: 0I hear you on the plastic holder. I remove the blade on my Grim Dollar Revolver when I get done with my shave and you do have to be careful and pay attention to where the edge is at all times. I do like the shavette, and it gives a great shave with the Dovo blades.
