Thread: Best disposable straight / shavette which uses standard DE blades?

    Thanks for the advice all. I've just bought a Parker SR1 from Amazon - £10 delivered.

Size:  26.7 KBMe i have the Bluebeards Revenge and i'm really satisfied whit the quality and the shaves i get from. To my opinion it was $20 well invested, i guest the model is very similar then the Parker but i found that shavette hefty and have a nice weight to it, not as heavy as a real straight but close to it. I'm about on my 20 something shaves and great shaves no irritation or razor burn. As for cuts or nicks not that often and nothing serious, it's a shavette i would recomended but dont forget light touch and watch you angle. Gino

    You might want to check out Shear Mattaki SMK. Uses DE blades, you do not have to break the blades in two.
