To my opinion it was $20 well invested, i guest the model is very similar then the Parker but i found that shavette hefty and have a nice weight to it, not as heavy as a real straight but close to it. I'm about on my 20 something shaves and great shaves no irritation or razor burn. As for cuts or nicks not that often and nothing serious, it's a shavette i would recomended but dont forget light touch and watch you angle. Gino
