I went ahead and bought a feather SS yesterday (should be here tomorrow) to give a shot. For travel, it would be easier not to have to carry a strop/CrOX and not have to worry about finding a place to hang the strop. I'll likely stick with straights for home use, but a feather might be a nice step up from the DE I usually carry when I travel.
