    Default Bluebeards Revenge shavette

Well i have to say that i'm really impress by the quality shaves that i got from my Bluebeards Revenge shavette. For the price i paid for i received quality shaves out of it, it's been my 15 shaves out of it so far so good. Of course the choices of blade(DE) as a big factor but if you used the same blade that you used in DE razor chance is are you'll get a great shave. For $19.99 + shipping it was a real deal, time will tell if it will the shavette will hold on but to my opinion it is really well built. The blade is not to difficult to install and the mecanism really hold the blade in place. So far so good my only 2 first shave i had minor nicks and minor irritation, as soon you get the feel, the right angle and of course no pressure you get great great results. Anyway that's my honnest opinion. Gino

Glad to hear, I was looking at one for the longest time but decided to go with the MD Dragon shavette. They are very close in look other then the colour.

I also have the Bluebeard Revenge shavette and use it with Astra SP blades. Excellent shavette and good quality.
The result is not as good as with a SR, but it's still better/closer than with the DE.
It's a great alternative for when I don't have time to take proper cleaning/drying care and stropping.

    Cheers.

The Bluebeard was my first introduction into shavettes. I still own it an it gives a real good shave once you get used to it. I've since moved on to using feathers if I want a replaceable blade razor shave. Just a different class of razor. But at the $20 price range I think the Bluebeard or md dragon are the best options over items like the dovo.

It's a bit tricky at first but eventually it's all smooth sailing remember no pressure. Maybe 1% or you will be a red faced gent

I was looking at one of those for a while but believe that they are all probably made in the same factory some where in China. So I bought one for less than $10 that looks exactly the same, except that the scales are pure white plastic. I skated it on a DMT to get more blade exposure. My shavette gives me the closest shaves of all I've tried yet (SR, R41, Sedef, Dovo Shavette). It is very aggressive because of alittle more blade exposure.

Have many enjoyable shaves with the BB,

I bought one of the no name ones too, it looks identical just no skull and crossbones etc and was about half the cost of the bluebeards one.
It performs reasonably well too, I have only tried it a few times though.

I have the Dreadnaught. Same razor, different name. I get great shaves from it.

I also have the Dreadnought razor. It shaves very well but I have fairly large hands and find that it feels too small for my hand. As for shavettes I find that the Parker push type razor is a much better fit for me.
