Thanked: 1I'm looking forward to using the feather blades. The blades I'm using right now seem to pull more than I would like. A whisker squeegee sounds fantastic.

Just make sure you apply as little pressure as possible and watch the blade angle - the instructions should give you a general idea and there are vids on YouTube worth a look.
But yeah, feather touch for Feather blades is the key.

Thanked: 96I have used the Feather SS & DX straight and folding handle razors and without question, the DX folding is the best. Has more weight and the handle fits my hand better. A less expensive but equally as good option is the Kai Captain for much less then the Feather DX. Use a good blade. I find the Feather Pro and the Kai mild to be the best.

Thanked: 1I do like the look of the Kai razors. Maybe I will get one before Christmas. Ive been using the Cjb kami. Its a huge improvement over the crappy shavette I was previously using.

Thanked: 3Hard time to decide? It comes down to your budget and perspective on what is considered as subjective truth. Just get a Feather SS and different blades, by the way skip Feather Light- worse crap i ever seen! Probably great for shaving your partners legs 😄 Kai mild has been a winner for me, close followed by Feather Guard.

Thanked: 0I love my cjb. I bought it on eBay for a great price. I find it gives me the closest shave compared to my de razors or straights. I also found the learning curve for me was very short; although I did cut myself up a few times at the start. It is well constructed but not as good looking as the feather.
