Thanked: 3Just had my first SR1 shave with a derby blade, it was nice... previously I have been shaving with a cheap Magic shavette and shitty CVS brand blades, so compared to the CVS blades, Derby's are super sharp.

Thanked: 14Sounds better than my first shave with a Parker--it didn't go well. I can use it just fine, now, but it takes a third seat behind my TI and Feather Artist. Derby blades seem to get a bad rap; I find the quality control to be uneven, but they're so cheap that when I do have a bad one that tugs I don't feel bad tossing it.
