Thread: Anyone using Dovo long blade (black holder) in their Dovo shave?

Hi All,
Been using several shavettes for a couple of years now, the Dovo was the first one I tried. Recently tried the long blades again...first time around I didn't like them at all, thinking they were not sharp enough.

This time I'm quite pleased. Not as sharp as a 1/2 double edge blade but much more forgiving, and of course, longer. Nice close shave NO nicks at all, less irritation.

Anyone else using them? How many shaves do you get?

I am no expert in shavetes but to be honest I prefer the half DE blades. The long blades are more trouble to get and don't give me any advantages as I basically only use the toe end anyways. Can't really say anything about the closeness of the shave as I can't remember how they shaved but I remember nicking myself anyway

I find the razors that are not as sharp seem to work better
