I'm having trouble finding replacement blades at an affordable price in Europe.
I bought some 'shaper blades' made in Japan but they do not fit my sextoblade, they just fall out.
Just shaved with mine he other day. I have used the Personna Hair Shaper Blade with great success. If that was the brand you used I don't know what to say. The Personna fits snuggly in my Weck. Try beauty supply stores or web sites.

The cheapest I found are Personna hair shaper blades in a dispenser.
    10.50USD for 20 pieces, that's a bit more than 50 cents each.
I also have Derby blades which shave just as fine as the blades for the sextoblade.
    4.90USD for 100 pieces, that's a bit less than 5 cents each.
The difference in price is more than 10x...

I understand that there is less steel in the Derby blades, but it doesn't justify this much of a difference in price.

The Derby blades however are more difficult to install, that's why I prefer to use the Weck razor.
The Weck razor also has a much better grip and feel.
Paying 10x more for the blades however is not a good alternative.

I often use mine on longer trips, I have bought vintage week blades and Fromm and Personna. They all seem to shave about the same. I really like this razor because it is the same weight and feel of a straight razor, and it shaves quite well. I have never analyzed the blade costs.

I earlier purchased some cost effective 'injector' blades from Japan which have a thicker back end.
Turns out they are not suitable for the sextoblade because the back end is too thin to keep it in place, the blade falls out.
So it seems that disposable blades are not exactly categorized under clear names.
It's difficult to find the right blade for your razor, isn't there any chart or lookup tool for this?
Shouldn't be too hard I would guess, just the razor brand, type and maybe year of manufacturing and the type of blades it could support.
Even when I look at blade listings on ebay the seller doesn't mention for which type of razor they can be used for :/ bad marketing imho.

I'm not gonna play darts and buy blades until I have the right ones : )

Would be awesome if I could just use the Weck razor, it has a good grip and shaves nicely.
Used a Parker razor with Derby blades yesterday but the handle is a bit slippery and I accidentally nicked a thingy off, blood was gushing out.

I used to use the Weck for shaving the tattoo area on customers before I retired from the business. I used the Personna blades Richard mentioned in the post above. I also used to buy vintage Weck blades, as well as other brands of the same type on ebay once in awhile. They worked very well if they were new old stock, and weren't expensive years ago. Usually they were better than the Personnas.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.
