Problem with the stickies is not many read them.
It is easier to google shaving vids and see what is available. Same with honing videos etc.

I always enjoy watching shaving videos because I pick up on things people do different and sometimes try to work them into my shaving routine.
With this video I see that he uses an alum block, does a lot more stretching than I do, and uses a sponge to wipe off blade.
I don't think I am going to just use one hand but I may pick up an alum block and do some more stretching. I also like the sponge idea. I have read that before but never got around to trying it.


EDIT: I also notice that most shaving videos, people shave with their shirts on. I always shave without a shirt on. If I shave with a shirt on, it would get a bit wet.
Am I one of the few that shave shirtless? or maybe for video sake, they keep the shirt on.

I usually shave just out of the shower. Either have a towel around the waste or naked... i'm still a little messy in my routine end up with quite a bit of water on and around the sink.

Shirtless, always.

I like the sponge idea. I usually just lay a wash cloth on the counter. But the sponge is more elegant! And Im a shirtless shaver!

No, I do shirtless as well.

As far as making the video a sticky, it was filmed well and shows someone with great technique, but I doubt most people actually go through and read the stickies.

I think some people leave their shirts on for videos. I did a video and left my shirt on, however, I normally shave without. I just felt weird without it. No sense showing off my big hairy gut to the world.

I'm sure the vast majority of us are shirtless shavers. The Youtube shirted shavers are just modest, that's all.

Now if you are really committed start shaving naked. Your technique and attention span will improve ten fold...
