Now tonight i grab the wedge strop it and its tugging and pulling something rotten. So i must have rolled the edge, is that possible on a wedge? So i put it down grab my dovo full hollow strop it up and same thing dull and tugging. So in one night is it possible that i've rolled 2 edges and how did I manage that?
I'm not stropping any different as far as I can tell. Will I have to send them both back to Neil at the strop shop to be rehoned now i've recked the edge?

I really think that unless you did something different while stropping the wedge, you didn't roll the edge. You have been stropping for months and this issue hasn't come up until now.

What I would do is invest in a cheap 100X microscope that runs on either AAA batteries or watch batteries. I'm the type of guy the feels better about what I do if I can see the results. The microscope will pick up microchips or any lingering debris on the blade, and verify that the edge is uniform.

It will take a little practice to learn to hold it steady but it really does a great job.
