All I can say is that I like it, and the wifey likes it..... I'm happy, she's VERY happy, and I like it when she's THAT happy! ;-)

As far as being/feeling classy? It doesn't matter really to me, as I now like to shave and feel pretty darn classy when I do; she likes it when I shave, and its a closer shave than I've ever previously had. She loves to caress my baby's butt.... lol.

No I don't think it does,

I think perhaps its not the razor that brings about class. But in how you use it. (back to "its actions" again)
To be seen as classy, you must be, or BECOME classy.

Its not just a shave, its the whole pride in your person. I may not always look my best, but I am always proud of myself. I keep my grooming as well as my manners.

This means I behave as well in my tux as I do when I go into town for a coffee after helping my neighbor in the cow barn.
Just be the best "you" you can be, and class (as far as THIS guy is concerned) will become a part of you naturally.

I've been thinking about this question and decided that to me it's not that it makes you more classy but more "old fashioned"

The use of the word, ""accoutrements," exemplifies your own class. Bravo, good sir, bravo.
Also, I would like to add that you are 100% correct. You are either have class or don't. It cannot be bought.

It does give me a psychological edge, because it is a skill I acquired after a lot of hard work and leaves my face shaved close and comfortable, which is something that happened oh too seldom my first 40 years of shaving.

For a question posed to ladies on this forum I wonder if any females replied??

My wife thinks it's very manly (maybe why she won't try it) and often brags to her friends about it but it comes out like "my crazy a$$ husband shaves his face with a sharp knife. Hahaha. Par for the course.....crazy" but I know deeeeeep down she loves it.
What a curse be a dull razor; what a prideful comfort a sharp one

It think it's classy. When I was little, I use to watch my father getting an old fashioned shave in a little old barber shop and I was fascinated by the whole thing; the hot towel on the face, the brush full of frothy bubbles, the shiny straight that looked like a knife and the strop that was attached to the chair as the barber used it. My dad is no longer around, but it brings happy memories and the special times my dad shared with me.
