I suppose you could if you were "ham fisted" about it but it can always be stropped or honed back into shape. Swish it in the water and knock it on the faucet or sink and the blade breaks...Fix that!
And the old adage about terrorism applies. You have to be lucky all the time, the sink/faucet only has to be lucky once.The easy road is rarely rewarding.
