Let it bleed for a few seconds to clean it out, then squirt the superglue into the wound and compress. Seals tightly enough to stop the bleeding within 15-20 secs and it's solid enough to resume whatever you were doing within a minute or two. If one shot doesn't do it then wait a minute and give it another shot. Eventually the bits of hardened superglue work their way out of the skin, though I guess it's possible that I've got a few bits left inside me here and there.

used a lot in my trade. Break a bottle and get cut by the shards? Superglue!!!

    Default razor cut

depending on how long ago this happend sounds like you could have used a stitch or two. def dont move your chin around very much for about a week and dont even bother to try to shave your chin around the slice or you will dehise the wound,, a little neosporin will promote healing and decrease the chance of scaring
the fact that it is a razor slice means it should heal well if it does not come apart , the razor is so sharp the wound wil come together fine.
good luck and go easy next time.

Default just say no to superglue...

The last post was right. It is a razor cut and will heal quickly if kept clean. Neosporin will speed healing. Their is a "liquid bandage" over the counter might be ok but is probably not necessary.

Industrial superglue has been used for years as a tissue glue but it is NOT medical grade and I would not put it on my FACE. Sure, if you are in a pinch it would work on on a bad cut but MacGyver has been off the air for several years now and this is no time to use his tricks of the trade. Besides, you should have a good start to a scab by now. Think of it as natures own super glue.

I will say that when I cut the s$%* out of myself it will bleed every time I shave it for the next week.

    Have fun.
