I tried using my weak hand on the left side (even though I am somewhat ambidextrous). All I can say is...

I think it is important to remember, do what works for you, and what you feel comfortable with! There are LOTS of other people who are right there with you, and although that may be reassuring, it doesn't really help you get a more confident, close, comfortable shave - and that should be the goal. Keep experimenting, you may surprise yourself!

Yes! I use my right hand all over, except for my first pass WTG on the left side of my face. Second pass XTG and third ATG, all with my right. Not sure why, that's just how I started and I've stuck with it.

I use both hands as well. I don't think I could shave if I had to reach across.

For me using the non-dominant hand started out as necessity (I couldn't figure out how to shave a particular part of my face with my right hand without killing myself in the process). Then I decided I needed the left hand to do my head as well, even though I suppose you could get away with using one hand if you had enough shoulder flexibility.

And now it feels like my dominant hand. In fact, when I try to use my right hand in places where I normally use my left hand it feels uncoordinated and dangerous.

    Humans are amazingly adaptable.

That "muscle memory" thing is hard to un-learn once acquired. I have the same problem with other daily chores.
