Thread: Tried shaving with weak hand

For me using the non-dominant hand started out as necessity (I couldn't figure out how to shave a particular part of my face with my right hand without killing myself in the process). Then I decided I needed the left hand to do my head as well, even though I suppose you could get away with using one hand if you had enough shoulder flexibility.

And now it feels like my dominant hand. In fact, when I try to use my right hand in places where I normally use my left hand it feels uncoordinated and dangerous.

Humans are amazingly adaptable.

That "muscle memory" thing is hard to un-learn once acquired. I have the same problem with other daily chores.
