Welcome to the club, prep is the key for a nice shave along with sharp razor. But like you said no blood.

I bled on my 5th straight razor shave. I am slowing down now. I learned a valuable lesson about angles and blood. Keep trying, just make sure your hands are dry! "Don't forget your towel"
With all due respect,

Who is we? lol, I did not strop properly and tried to speed shave. My little boy was taking a bath in his room and I caught a quick shower and then decided to use the straight razor. After applying the styncil I picked my straight razor up and shaved the other side of my face, with new respect
