Thanked: 4206Technique and edge make all the difference in this pursuit I am learning. Angle of attack. Pressure, confidence of grip even. I still have a long journey before I get the perfect shave, as do we all. Take your time and enjoy every smooth section as you master it. Cheeks are first, neck last from a BBS perspective.
Outback, never found I needed much stretching, maybe in another decade but so far facial grimacing is enough. Leaves the other hand free to smoke.
And Mike, the last time I shaved my upper lip was last Movember,,,
It didn't go well as I recall. Hehe. Will be my last lip trim for a long time.
The blood proves how important focus is. The sight of my upper lip for the first time in 30 years so distracted me I butchered the shave. Was one of the last times I bled actually. Oct 31 2014."Depression is just anger,, without the enthusiasm."

I never shaved my mustache until I was 40
I have shaved it ever since. It sure was weird at first though!
