Thanked: 56Those display cases are a bit of overkill for me yet, but they sure look spectacular!

Thanked: 1587I keep the razors I'm using in the bathroom I use them in. The remaining razors are oiled and stored in a storage box or two in the storage room. Strops, well I seem to have run out of strops apart from the one I use daily. I keep giving away strops when I give away razors, can't have one without the other. So anyway, that strop is also kept in the bathroom where I shave.
Now if you asked where I keep my stones.... *that* would be an interesting discussion!

I keep my rotation in my headboard cubby. I just roll out of the rack, sit on the side and grab a razor, swing the Lipshaw strop out and go at it before heading to the...er...head! (usually!)

I rest my case.

Yeah, except George's had robotic hands come out and strop the razor whist another pair began stirring the lather in a mug.
One comes out and slaps a hot towel on his face, after which lather is smacked on and stirred around. THEN, the first pair of hands gives him a proper shave right there on the side of the bed. Towel hands come out, MMMmmmmffff, AS hands come out, splat/rub.
I don't have those options!
My friend Darl (Tarkus) made the prototype. I insisted upon one, so he made me one.
Mounted to a wall stud, I can rattle the window 6 feet away while stropping a heavy wedge! Solid!"Don't be stubborn. You are missing out."
I rest my case.

HA! TBH, She does not care! Not about honing, but retrieving and stropping a razor prior to use. No honing there, or anything else.
Nice as-used, with exception of some hanging strops utilized in the half-bath. Strops, used well, are the most important component in straight-shaving. Strops are where it's at, IMO!"Don't be stubborn. You are missing out."
I rest my case.
