Default Where do you keep your razors and strops?

I've read that keeping the razor in a humid environment like a bathroom medicine cabinet can cause rust problems, but my bathroom is small and there is no counter for me to keep my razor sitting out, and the back of the toilet isn't something I'm willing to consider. I do keep the bathroom door open after showers to allow the humidity to escape, but I keep the medicine cabinet closed. My brush gets dry in there, so I'm guessing that rust issues are minimal, especially relative to the convenience of having my razor in the bathroom, and the fact that I only have and use one, so it gets used, dried, and stropped daily.

Also, is the strop ok if I keep it hanging on the bathroom door, or should I bring it in and out with me?

    Thanks!

My strops hang in the bathroom & my razors are wrapped in a handkerchief & sit on the sink counter,,, coated with mineral oil,,, no problems in 5 years.

My razors are oiled & live in a tupperware box containing a layer of Silica gel.
I've seen plenty of rust in certain circumstances, over a period of 30+ years of straight shaving.
Buy a small hygrometer, put it in your bathroom & take a reading. Rust starts almost immediately at 40% RH.

Rust was never a reality when I lived near the mountains but never stored razors in the bathroom.

Oil & an airtight container is good prevention.

Thanks for the input. I think getting the razor out of the bathroom is probably a good idea.

Big mason jar with silica packets at the bottom, hair blow dry the razors and throw them in and seal it. Good protection, easy to do, why not?
I like the big coffee/cookie/flower jars with the hinge, clasp, and rubber seal. I see them at second hand stores often.

I had a strop cup once; pretty sure it was from the humidity. Luckily, I was able to flatten it out again. Now I hang it from a doorknob near the bathroom. I wouldn't store unprotected razors in the bathroom for fear of rust; I have never risked it so I have never seen it happen.

Razors in this box made by my bro. It is pretty special to me as it was his last project before the parkinsons consumed him to where he can no longer make things. My Strops all hang in my walk in closet which is right off to the side of where I shave. This is an old photo but all the drawers are now full of razors
