Roy I think it is because the cut is usually very clean with straight edges and also very fine not mention that it is usually at an angle so the skin doesn't keep pulling apart. I guess that we also keep it fairly sterile during the healing process.
I just thought also that seeing as we effectively exfoliate the area daily it might prevent scar tissue from building up.
I am not sure how the guys go who remove chunks of skin though.

However back to the OP I can't see a little cut like that scarring and even if it does it won't exactly be major.

Oh there's a scar. Actually it's more of a crater. I can still grow hair there though lol.

Goes with the territory. Shave with a spike, you will get spiked. After that happened to me, I sold many of my spiked razors and with a barber hone gently rounded the sharp tips of the ones I kept. I don't want to look like an initiate for a German University dueling fraternity.

I'm quite upset. About one week ago i switched back to a spike razor i had when i first started shaving. I guess i wasn't paying attention and i seemed to get a vertical cut down my face with spike. It stopped bleeding within the first 5 min and i cleaned it up. I didn't shave for about 1 week after so let it heal. I noticed it was red under my whiskers but thought it would heal ok. Today i shaved and i notice there's like a visible pink line vertically down my face it looks quite unsightly.

I'm worried it's going to leave a permanent scar...I applied some vitamin e oil (not much) but wanted to know peoples thoughts on this. All my previous cuts have healed fine and left a more whitish blemish that blends in with my skin after about a week. This cut feels different for some reason. I don't think it was too deep but i did feel it sharply when i did it.
Most women find scars as a sign of manhood/virility.

    Hope this helps

Reading that made me look at my hand where I still have a black spot in my hand from where to was stabbed with a pencil about 20 yes ago.

My wife swears by Coconut oil, it does seem to work, she put it on a bad burn and it healed completely with no scaring. I cannot get her to go to a Doctor, unless she is dying.

I find a dab of Bactenecin or Neosporin at night, help heal quickly.

The good thing about a spike point is it will teach you to shave with a light hand, and pay attention...

    I love the spikes.
