Default Shaving Forehead (to remove ageing lines)

We know they do it in Japan although I'm not sure why. I did see a few guys who had hair on the foreheads when I lived there, but it wasn't that common.
So, the point of this post is does anyone do it and will it remove the ageing lines I have there?? I'd like to try but am worried bad things might happen. Will they?

    Actually, interesting you mention this.

I don't shave my forehead, but on the XTG stroke I get right up under my eyes with the toe of the razor, and shave the skin on the "bags" under the eyes and right across, I do it very slowly and firmly, but always closely shave that entire area, can see and feel the exfoliation and not only does it feel great, but keeps my skin very clean, no dry, red flaking skin or the irritation that used to have me scratching the area.

That and my new find of using the Esbjerg Aftershave Oil, which is sublime how nice it feels and treats the skin, which I apply all over, including on my big bald forehead, and since, my skin is noticeably better, wife noticed, no red, flaking dryness at all.

Maybe I'll try the forehead next shave, makes sense as far as I'm concerned.

    Great topic...thanks!

    You're welcome!

I read an article a while back saying that scientific tests had revealed that shaving does not make hair thicker. lol. I'm not so sure about that, and it goes against every woman I've known who's shaved her legs, but maybe it's right. I can say the parts of my face I shave that have no hairs have never started growing hair, or thicker hair hasn't seemed to have developed. Shrug!

I'm definitely interested to hear how it goes, Phrank. And if you start looking 20 years younger I'll be happy to let you give me one of those choppers.

Interesting thread. The exfoliating properties were one of the improvements to my neck line noticed when I started straight shaving. Never considered using it on the eye bags and beyond..
Will be following this conversation with interest.
    Thanks.

I had to do a lot of laughing g to get those lines so I'm not sure I want to get rid of all of them. I earned them and think I will keep them for now but the concept is interesting.

Are we talking about shaving your forehead even without hair there? Cause I haven't ever grew any hair on my forehead, everywhere else but never my forehead. Tc

Yep, we're specifically talking about shaving the forehead to see if it reduces the lines or wrinkles. And I'm worried that it might make the tiny little hairs there grow thicker, which may be even worse than the lines themselves.

Hair grows out of the follicle, which is well beneath the surface of the skin. The follicle is the part with live cells that extrude the hair shaft, which is not alive. The cutting of the dead hair at the skin surface has no impact on what the follicle produces.

If you make 2 cuts about half inch apart and then super glue the seam back together it's a whole lot quicker :<0)
