Thanked: 0Shaving under the nose technique - Newbie
Okay gents, I am unlucky that I have nose and mustache hair that is combined. Full on dense!
how do you get under the nose and the nostril openings, with DE I flip it upside down and use one the corners to buff away.
How do you do it with straights, I have round-point razors 5/8 and 6/8. I can use my DE, but I like to know how I can do the same with straight?
Thank you

I will try not to confuse you. I approach it diagonally. So not true north to south but left side of the lip northwest to southeast The other side the opposite.
Also a french point razor makes it easier for me but I use the same approach with all my razors.

On the first pass I pull up on the nose with my free hand and do a straight north south pass. On the second pass I go diagonal from cheek to philtrum.

Don't even think for a second about cutting nose hairs with a straight. That's all I got.
