I feel your pain-I'm up to nearly 3 dozen shave ready blades, so it's like walking into an ice cream shop every time I want to shave!

I only have 5 soaps that I use regularly and typically reach for the MdC Fougere. Although the dozen samples call to me at least once a week. I usually just sniff a few and go with what tickles my fancy.
The razors are the hardest for me, especially since I have tried to get one of everything. I try to use the same razor at least twice, to really put the edge through its paces, though that added commitment makes me take a second or third look at the stash...
As far as the SOTD's, I usually take mine after I'm smelling good and proceed to forget to post it. Probably 50 pictures on my phone I haven't gotten around to uploading....

I have a small collection. 9 razors total (and a damascus RSO that I'm sorely tempted to hone and shave with.)
I use 2 for everyday shavers that I rotate day-on/day-off.
I have 2 that are 'occassional', for when I just want something different.
I have 2 that are NIB 'emergency back-ups' in case I drop one of my everyday shavers and or ruin a blade.
All of these are shave ready and waiting for skin and lather.
Then I have 3 that are cheap 'test razors' that I use to practice honing.
Trying to keep it organized.

I used to have a very set rotation of brushes and razors and they were used in the order I purchased them, yes I know very OCD, heck they were even stored in purchased order then one day I just said after cleaning and orgainzing that I was tired of trying to remember a certain order of use so i just started using them by how i felt for the day and it's so much more enjoyable.

Every couple of weeks I pull a few out and apply Reno wax this means these are out of rotation. The few that stay in are only oil and that reduces my options every morning - I have 4or5 oiled razors
