    Default The Collector's Dilema

    What should I use today?

So, I have 10ish razors that just need a quick strop. Buuuut, I have one all stropped and ready to go.

Although, there's a few with a bevel 90% set and then I could put it 'em through stones...

But then there's that one that needs a touch up and I could try out that new barbers hone!

    *sigh*

    Decisions decisions...

I love that dilemma - I sometimes have a razor lined up, then at the last second grab another.

Sheesh, I've taken my SOTD picture, got back downstairs, and suddenly changed my mind and used another one...and even a different soap on occasion.

But I know it's truly become sad and somewhat pathetic, when I actually feel guilty for using a different soap, brush, or razor that I had intended to use, or had used for my SOTD pic....

I don't have a clue about how I pick a razor (or soap or brush). It's more of a feeling than a thought out decision, not based on anything really. I don't have a set rotation, which I would find terribly boring. Somehow I just pick out a razor that I think I'll enjoy using that day, sort of like picking out a desert from the menu.

I have used 2 or 3 during a shave. If I can't narrow it down or choose I'm using all of them no point in neglect.

This was the side of my sink two weeks ago. I just couldn't decide what to put out that morning, so I put out several.

I'm laughing out loud; I was about to post my dilemma for tomorrow. This is what the mail man brought today, hence my conundrum for tomorrow!
